Hi my name is Shan Gourley, and I love cleaning! As well as having a beautiful home and an organised life.  

The idea for Above & Beyond was born over 30 years ago, when I returned to Brisbane, Australia after many years spent in the United Kingdom and Hong Kong.  An ex-nurse, combined with housekeeping and nanny services,  I identified that many households are busy.  In fact so busy that they are spending their limited down time cleaning, running errands, dealing with baskets of laundry…there is so much that needs to get done. 

I realised that I could put my overseas experience to good work and support many busy people, by giving them back their time – a precious commodity. Hence, Above & Beyond was officially created in 2013 – Getting Things Done, On Time, All the Time. 

We are a small, yet efficient army of helpers who take care of all those annoying tasks that HAVE to get done.  From kitchen cleaning to decluttering and downsizing to grocery shopping, we can tick that task off the list.

At Above & Beyond, we set the expectation in home and personal services – professional, respectful, and peace of mind.  While others do the bare minimum we are willing to go Above & Beyond!
